Why 60 years group very interested in Indian culture? For example, a trip to India Beatles inspired them to add of sitar music for them, which then influenced the Rolling Stones to do the same and "Paint it Black". Also, to whom and song in honor of Meher Baba spiritual guru. In addition that Ravi Shankar playing Woodstock .. So I just I want to know how is it? Enlightenment me, music lovers! : D

Never actually read about it, but I would guess that this is because of the hippie movement they are all part of. culture of India is rich with budhism which preaches most of this which considers hippies in. IE peace, love, care etc.
